We spent a week shreading at Paul Maguires place in Ohope it’s a real cool little spot right on the coast, the weather even played ball for a couple days, massive thanks to Liam Hall for all the help with the filming and editing and everyone else that made the ep possible.

The second of my clips to be released on Airtime, the action sports show on TVNZ U from a trip up to Auckland for the Big Boys Toys action sports and lifestyle expo, really cool to work with not only the wake kids but also the BMX and FMX as well so I’m stoked to see these on the screen and now on vimeo as well. So thanks to Liam Hall for half the shooting and editing as well as all the others that made it possible.

It didn’t really have a name so I went with Cam does most of the skating in it and didn’t really have a purpose other than rad stuff that was sitting in my hard drives collecting dust so now it’s a video for nzwakeboard.com.

It took way too long to find and learn how to use but I’ve got it on NZwakeboard in the riders pages such as Josho’s, That find’s any tagged post and brings them in on a page with the same name, it can be done in easier ways by using tag templates but I’ve got another project in mind that I think it could really help with. But that’s waiting on more than one thing to fall into place before I can get it sorted, till then I’m gonna keep playing with the code and seeing if I can use it better. So, for now, throw it under the regular loop and then create another loop the same after this code and it will bring up the posts.

The home town still has a few new places to find fun and cursing around with Cam for a week we found some, we went back to some old ones and in the end, we got some shots for NZwakeboard.com.

It turns out my computer doesn’t really like creating 3D text in photoshop so this took a while to go from concept to completion and after a whole number of different tries to give the text the effect I ended up going with Repousse tool and as quite often happens the final image is quite different to the initial concept but I’m happy so if you can make it get on down, Facebook event here.
