Wine Enthusiast’s BTS 40 Under 40

In a family hectic week a little while back I managed to squeeze in a trip to San Fransico for the west coast half of this shoot for Wineram and W.E. Thanks to Marina and all the other crew including the photographers who occasionally had me running through the back of frames to get angles.

Jen GilanFarr Drone Set

I’ve been starting to mess around with dual operator drone flights, it’s a million times better, as I always knew it would be but I still get nervous flying when there’s something different happening like the drone freaking out and going to a home point that is now just lake surface or boats being unpredictable and there goes the Inspire 2 but we got this in two shots, one up and one back on the lake, thankfully Jen is ridiculous consistent and puts up with me messing with her set to get something and Wade Snider for learning the cam-op side of the drone.

Beartooth 2* FWQ for Snowledge

Of one of the strangest trips I’ve been on recently, I took a massive road trip as only possibly in the U.S. to head into Yellowstone and through to Beartooth Basin Summer Ski area for a 2* FWQ event, the weather was off and on so this was a little between, touristing, road laps and the comp.

Cascadia Part 3 of 3

Finishing up Cascadia took a lot longer than these final climbs but it was also pretty amazing and kinda a bad idea to take a full camera bag up Mt. Shasta in a day, I’d do it again tomorrow if I had to tho.

Cascadia Part 2 of 3

As we continued up through the Cascade range we hit weather in Oregon, this was the longest I’ve spent in the state and started to see the beauty in the place, Bend does amazing beer as well as has some real fun mountains to climb.

Cascadia – The Trailer

After months of editing and procrastinating and going around a little in circle we’re finally getting very close to the release of Cascadia, the split board and ski touring video series I shot during the 2016 spring from California north up the Cascade mountain range, all the way up to Washington.

Calendar Blackout Dates

I’ve been working on a friend’s site over at JKBinstalls.co.nz It’s nothing too crazy but has a form or a couple of forms that can help them with setting up appointments, the general put your name, email, and a few details about what you’re looking for.

Wineram.com // Penrose theme

I’ve been working with wineram on a new website, which you can check out but also one of the cool things about it is that if your liking the way it looks the wordpress theme is available for purchase, there are a few custom things involved in wineram’s site but thats cool and as the theme is used for a commercial project already it’s guaranteed to keep getting updates, well more so than me saying I will keep working on a passion project. Penrose as theme is known by itself has been developed with wineram so as a primary use a video portfolio it works great but by no means that is it’s only application.
I do plan on writing more documentation of the theme but as a working example use wineram.com and get in contact riley@rileybathurst.com if you think you might want to use the theme.

HEADSPACE: Jonny Moseley

A couple of weeks back I got to catch up with one of skiing pioneers and quite the marketing genius, more people know who this guy is than the last olympic gold medalists to have a chat for The Inertia and Canted Angle Productions.
