Hairdressing has never been on top of my list of things to shoot photos of, being generally a year between haircuts for me not something I’m super interested on but was an interesting shoot with someone thats doing really cool work in New Zealand and around the globe.

The JR / Duty Free Designer Selection Show at the Christchurch Airport the other night was a late arrival to the calendar setting back the drive up north by a few hours but a good opportunity to check out some of the wears from New Zealand Fashion week.

I finally had a little time to get back and edit these shots of Madi Simek from far too long back.

So for the past few days, it has been a real rush to get some promotional work all finished up and tidy.
I’ve been using these photos shot in the studio and adding them to enhanced backgrounds to get the final effect.
Unfortunately, I can’t take credit for shooting the models I was assistant at the shoot but I did shoot some of the backgrounds.
There is 13 in total so you will be seeing them around NZ stores and malls soon enough but heres a sneak peak at what I’ve been doing.
